This painting was a part of a series of plein air watercolor depictions in the Crystal Cove State Park, during the time I was selected as one of the painters to provide paintings of Crystal Cove for an entire year. The old garage structure shown in the painting was used for exclusive beach parking for the beach cabins. Most of the cabins are scheduled to be repaired or replaced, but this 3 mile beach remains inviting and scenic.
